Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents, Winona Ryder's parents, chose her name after her hometown. Her father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's father was born into an ethnically Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Ryder is the younger sister of Uria, and has half-siblings Jubal & Sunyata. Ryder moved with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They resided in an area without electric power. Television books was her only source of entertainment to pass the time. Eventually, she began to read extensively. Ryder was 12 when she was enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in the year 1983. Ryder landed her first film role on the big screen in 1986 at the age of 15 older. Ryder experienced bullying at high school. Her performing career, she thought that it would aid her. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. It didn't stop her from pursuing dreams. In 1988, she received her biggest break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder played successful roles for numerous films. She was nominated for two Academy Awards one for her performance on The Age of Innocence (1993).
