Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a singer that was born in Newark New Jersey on 9th August, 1963. The parents of her are gospel stars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick sings as well.
