Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as to a few Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work in the film as actress Savitri. The actress also won three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents include film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her initial career path was an actor for children. After completing her studies in Fashion Design, she returned to acting. Her first big part in Geethaanjali (2013), a Malayalam feature film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. It didn't do well in the theater. In the year 2015, she debuted A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu in opposition to each other. However, the films didn't do very well at the theaters. The actress had to pull out of a number of films she had been involved in during 2015, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vedam in order to allow for larger projects. She worked in two films in rapid succession together with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also one of the main actors for Prabhu's Thodari. It was delayed in 2015, and there are reports that it would be released in September 2020, with the name of Janakitho Nenu. In the year 2016, Nenu Sailaja, starring Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy made her debut on screen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) alongside actor Vijay. She was in Tamil film Paambhu satai as well as Telugu movie Nenu Local both in 2017.
